Timorous Cream Egg
Calling this egg small is generous; it is tiny in comparison to the typical dragon's egg. Its shell is perfectly smooth and creamy white, the color of fair unblemished skin. Here and there on the surface of the egg, a diffused streak of color spreads across the pale cream, providing a richly-contrasting rosy pink. The soft glow of the rose reminds you of a pretty flush on fair skin, making the whole egg look as though it is blushing to be out in such a public place.
Timorous Cream Egg cracks partly as a tiny leg punches free of the shell, soon to be followed by several more limbs and, at last, the rest of a furiously-struggling Quixotic Sapphire Blue Dragonet.
Quixotic Sapphire Blue
In many ways, this blue seems a throwback to a past era: his small size is the most obvious example of this. His hide is not one shade of blue, but many; his underbelly is a royal blue, but his flanks are several shades darker, and almost metallic in appearance. His wings, gently spread to help him maintain his balance, are a midnight blue that darkens until they're nearly black at the wingtips. He moves with deliberate, serious motions, and his eyes are blue shaded with orange flashes as he determinedly hunts what he's looking for so together they can perform the duty of a dragon and rider.
