It wasn't a complicated game. It was just an afternoon outside in the bowl, throwing around a ball. Marzio ran between Z'ian and his older brother, trying to catch it as it went sailing over his head. Until that is, Zaidan hit him hard with it in the shoulder.

"Ow, fuck."

Z'ian stopped the ball with his foot and stared at his youngest, eyes widening and 'brows lifting. "What did you just say?"

The eight turn old stared back at his father and then to his brother, pointing at him. "Zai says it all the time!"

The bronzerider narrowed his gaze then to turn it onto the older boy. "What?"

"You say it all the time! You can't tell me not to do it if you're doing it!"

He opened his mouth for the reprimand but then snapped his jaw shut, kicking the ball off to the side. Moving forwards he caught up one son by the collar and the other by the hand. "We're going to go have a talk with your mother."

The pleading and wails of children in trouble about to get into even more trouble echoed through the inner caverns.

< Awhaw! I love it. It's so genuine, how Z'ian handles his kids and their reactions to it. Clearly Mama is the one to be feared, though. xD
