Editing

The whole point of having a wiki is that it can be edited by anyone: please, feel free! Especially if you see something that is wrong! This being said:

  • Fixing something that is broken on another player's page is fine. Editing their page for content is generally frowned upon, unless you first get their permission.
  • If you're not sure about something, ask the admin team before editing.
  • Defacing any page may lead to your wiki access being removed. Be adults!
  • The wiki is a community resource. Your content remains yours; however, its being posted on the wiki grants the community a license to maintain it. The content will remain on the wiki even if you choose to leave the community.

Adult Content

  • Images containing nudity or offensive content will be deleted from the wiki; please don't post them.
  • At this time, we have no formal restrictions on what written content can be posted on the wiki, although the admin team reserves the right to revise that at any time.
  • When posting logs, be mindful of the feelings of the other players involved; it's often wise to double-check with the other players before posting, especially when dealing with sensitive or explicit content.
  • If you do post something of a sensitive nature, please make that clear in the OOC Note. (For example: Warnings: Mild violence, non-explicit sex.)
  • We also have a 'NSFW' log category... though we cannot guarantee that all logs are categorized appropriately. Read at your own risk!

Images

There is presently no limit to how many icons/images you may upload. However:

  • The more images you have on a page, the longer that page will take to load... for you and for the people who look at your page.
  • Animated images are hard on some people's vision; upload five or fewer and use them sparingly.
  • Compressing/optimising your images before uploading them is a Nice Thing To Do.
  • Icons are displayed as 100x100 files; they can be smaller, but ideally, they should not be bigger!
  • If you want to delete an image you've uploaded, ask an admin. (Note: capability temporarily enabled as of 2014.09.21.)

Conclusion

When in doubt? Ask.
