So as (most of) you know, I had the first new addition to my family in March. We're getting into our groove and I'm working with SO to try to get a little two-handed time in which to do live scenes in addition to the slow-paced RP-by-google-docs that I've been doing. I wanted to put out there that if I'm logged in, I'm possibly (probably?) RP okay, /but/ because I have a wee one who, let's face it, isn't self-sufficient and who has first crack my attention, if I RP, it comes with the following disclaimer:

I really want to RP with you, but the wee one has to come first, which means RPing with me live may involve unexpected slowness that I won't be able to say 'hey, I'll brb in x many minutes' before I /have/ to go do something. It means I might be typing one handed which makes me a little slower with posing. It might mean I need to pause the scene or only get three poses in before something happens that requires my attention away from the keys. I know this makes me a drag to RP with, but if you're willing to put up with that, I'm thrilled to RP with you.

Otherwise, I would love, love, love to RP with you by google doc. If you're interested, shoot me a +mail with your google docs address and I'll be glad to set something up.

If neither appeals to you, I completely understand and hope to RP with you in the future as tiny tot grows. I just wanted to wave my RP flag in what ways I can. Hope to play with you soon!

Description

He's a golden boy, for all that his generally close-cropped hair is a dark rather than gleaming shade of blond; his bone structure is strong, his physique muscular, his carriage self-possessed. Even so, X'vae's frequent congenial smile and his oft-changing facial hair (from clean-shaven to beard and anywhere in between) tell a different story, one of a friendlier, more down to earth man. His nose may be slightly too long and wide for classic comeliness, but perhaps that makes him all the more approachable in combination with the everyman's charisma of his expressive face and warm, mutable blue-green gaze.

Though he's most frequently seen in nothing-special brown riding leathers bearing a simple wingrider's knot along with his new Weyr's badge, his shirts reveal that X'vae isn't afraid of color; they're eye-catching solid shades, primarily sapphires, jades and even violets, though even his off-duty trousers are simpler if occasionally possessed of many pockets. Fashionable enough but function-focused, the bluerider's clothes and accoutrements show signs of reasonable wear but meticulous upkeep, X'vae not being one to toss a good garment before the end of its life.

• Friendly guy, easy smile and an everyman's charisma. He'd totally buy you a drink just because you asked.

• Didn't part from Monaco on the best of terms, though the details haven't made their way into the grapevine yet.
