While Iolene and her grandfather are being pretty tight-lipped, it's become very obvious that 'Headwoman' Grams' presence is no longer amongst the exiles and some of the stories as to what happen go from the ludicrous: The flying sea-monsters ate her as payment for all their work. To somewhat more plausible: A strong wave came upon the shore as she was trying to catch one of the last dragons out, and dragged her out to sea.

Maybe it's a combination of shock and grief, but Iolene doesn't look very good -- even for a malnourished exile.

One For The Death Count
RL Date: 7 June, 2011
Who: Iolene
Type: [[Concept:{{{type}}}|{{{type}}}]]
What: Not all the exiles make it off the island.
Where: Western Islands / High Reaches Weyr
When: Day {{{day}}}, Month {{{month}}}, Turn {{{turn}}} ({{{IP}}} {{{IP2}}})

Shortly after the last exile is dropped off, news begins to travel among the exiles of just who didn't make it back: either voluntarily (those crazies!) or rather involuntarily.
