Rocking rhythmically within the small depression of sand surrounding it, the Wildflower Field Egg seems to be dancing to an inaudible tune. A sudden frenzy from within sends it pirouetting past several unhatched eggs. With a final effort, the hatchling breaks free, shards flying across the sands in every direction.
Oak Brown Hatchling
The momentum of the egg's roll causes this large brown dragonet to continue to tumble a bit further before he comes to a halt. He quickly finds his feet, jeweled eyes whirling with intense curiousity. The underlying color of this fellow is a deep, mellow oak, burnished to a warm glow. Running in the same direction as the young yet powerful muscles beneath the hide are dark sienna striations, irregularly spaced. At several places on his haunches, the deep brown markings form whorls of concentric circles. Along the center of his back, from muzzle to tail, dustings of nutmeg are sprinkled. Eagerly he gathers himself and prepares to investigate the sands.

Oak Brown Hatchling suddenly makes his way directly towards a group of Candidates, and butts his head against Channie's legs, bleating up at her.
