| The walk to the workout room was a short one, stripping out of her flight jacket and the sweater she wore over the sleeveless undershirt. Ed made a beeline for the punching bag. Halting just long enough to wrap her hands and undo her boots before starting in on the leather bag. Don't get involved. She told herself as her fists struck the bag. Nothing good ever comes from getting involved. You should just report it and be done. And just who the hell did the Harper think he was anyway? Who did he think she was, to expect that Edyis could do anything about a rider spiraling dangerously towards self-destruction? It isn't your problem. Edyis reminded herself letting her fists thud hard into the bag again, launching volley after vicious volley of blows. What would the potential cost of doing nothing be? "Fucking Harper." She muttered, gathering her things and heading out the door. She had a bluerider to track down. |

I can hear Alida now: "She insists on being stupid. If it affects her work, report her to her Wingleader, if the spiral continues or worsens. If it just bugs YOU, tell her to shape up or ship the f*ck out. Or you can SHOW her blatantly what her stupidity will lead her to. There's worse things than death." ;)
