- Spies: Tiriana tasks Warucori with finding out what V'teri is up to.

- Exiles: The Search Begins: V'teri hosts a meeting of like-minded treasure hunters. People are split into 6 teams and given a quadrant to look over.
- Get In The Game: Lujayn attends V'teri's nighthearth meeting. It's time to step up.
- A Treasure Hunt, You Say?: Taikrin draws the short straw; it's time for the Great Treasure Hunt of Turn 25! Bring on the gold and jewels!!

- An Old Man's Memory: Questions raised bring back old memories.

- The Death of a Harper: An old Harper dies.

- Discovery! Part 1: Treasure-hunting riders from High Reaches Weyr stumble upon the exiles.

- A New Sort of Exile: Out of the frying pan, into the fire.
- Evacuation: What lies ahead.
- You can't make me: Iolene doesn't want to go, Riorde does but can't yet, and E'dre is frustrated with nearly everyone.
- New Pants: Tom gets rescued! And pees himself. Sorry, Jeibeth.
- I don't care to go: After Tom and B'tal leave, Warucori attempts to convince Xavior.
- Why?: Xavior gets convinced to go.
- Rescue-Ranger: With most of the exiles gone from the settlement, Taikrin takes a few minutes to case the joint. Somehow, she ends up bringing Riorde back to the Weyr instead of absconding with secret exile treasure.

- I'm Scared: Tom, Iolene and Rhaelyn contemplate everything.

- (Don't) think with your heart: Madilla seeks out permission for changes in the way the exiles are handled.
- Nothing to Pardon: Lord Rynien has an offer K'del is unlikely to refuse.
- Pregnant, not feeble-minded: K'del presents Rynien's offer to Tiriana.

- Pestering Exiles: Taikrin cons her way into the barracks to see if she can ferret out the truth about this so-called treasure.
- Sandalwood: Hiding away at the baths (with escort!), Emmeline meets Warucori, who is adorably nice!
- Day 25
- Passing: The first few days at High Reaches Weyr doesn't end well for this family.
- Nothing Left to Say: Nor for Emmeline.
- Day 26
- Illness takes another: Rhaelyn's father dies.
- Paranoid? Or justified?: Devaki and Riorde can't sleep. So they go for a walk in the snow, as you do when you're freaked out.
Month 13, Turn 25

- I want to go home: Exiles plot a break-out.
- Are you?: Madilla struggles when faced with Phedre's anger.
- Prison: Exiles upset each other, and then Warucori.
- Day 4
- A difficult situation: K'del wants to know wtf V'teri's game is.
- Shared histories: Devaki and V'teri talk, and discover they share more than a love of finding the truth. Plans are made for a trip to River Bend.
- ESCAPE!: Celadion, Rilka and others escape from the candidate dorms.
- Day 7
- A complicated question: Madilla explains some things to Rhaelyn.
- Day 8
- Just when you thought it was over: Jaques' little brother dies.
