Daughter of an Istan bluerider and a cook, she grew up at Ista Weyr with the rest of the weyrbrats. She started working in the stables as soon as she was able, and stood for a clutch the first time at age fifteen and again at sixteen. She was visiting family at the Reaches when she was Searched and chose to stay. At the hatching in month four, she Impressed green Emisith.
