Description

There's something about Kinory's wide, dark eyes and artlessly open expression that give this girl an unassuming, guileless sort of manner. At somewhere around 5'3", she's small, even for being a youth nearing the end of her adolescence. Short, ink-black and straight, her recently shorn bob ends at her chin, furthering the impression that she's yet more child than woman. Usually attired in worn, but well cared-for work shirts and trousers, she's never seen without the crisp knot affixed on her shoulder declaring her to be a High Reaches brownrider-in-training.

It's common knowledge that Kinory's from Monaco Weyr. She's an only child, or so she claims, and quite weyrbred but please, turn your topics from uncouth mentions of trysts or flights. She'd much rather talk about anything else, really. She's reputed to be soft-spoken and polite.

What little people have gotten from her reveals that her parents are still at Monaco. They correspond pretty regularly and seemed to be close prior to her Impression.

Kinory arrived at High Reaches a few days after Svissath caught Rielsath. A diligent, if quiet seamstress, she nervously asked the headwoman for permission to stand a few days before the eggs were due to hatch.

She Impressed brown Ineuth on day 7 of month 3, turn 30, much to her surprise. Her parents made a public visit the day after the hatching, apparently intent on earnestly confronting her about why that brown wasn't green. At least, that's what witnesses heard Drasor calling back over his shoulder as they left their daughter in tears. There have since been no further visits.
