On the hatching sands, Vorinth pulls himself up out of the sands to a stable half-crouch, his voice still thrumming powerfully. Tarin catches it before it reaches Miritha. Up on the ledges, C'trel urrrmmmm... In the sky above the sands, Ameveth flies out of the tunnel from the bowl. Freelik waves to his Master Harpers Up on the ledges, T'lor chuckles. "Couldn't have picked a better time." Up on the ledges, D'vin says "Take that back. C'trel is an average sized furry animal." Up on the ledges, Chareth raises an eyebrow at Therese. Hmm.... Up on the ledges, Y'kon says "Still on that note Therese?!" In the sky above the sands, Ameveth lands neatly on a ledge. Up on the ledges, Y'kon says "That was from way back when." Up on the ledges, J'es says "WHAT STAKE C'TREL, ON NEEKA?" Up on the ledges, Teyal watches the Pinnate Blue-green egg carefully. On the hatching sands, Muffled sounds of thumping are heard from within the Pinnate Blue-Green Egg, as cracks cover the surface. Up on the ledges, Electra says "Meeting of the *minds*?" Kurion makes sure that he has loaded his stylus with charcoal... Up on the ledges, Chareth watches, a faint smile on her face. Up on the ledges, Dysira starts at J'es, smiling. On the hatching sands, Neeka grins. Up on the ledges, Caoilfionn looks down at the stands again and somehow manages to clamber her way down there. Don't ask. She leaves, bowing to the riders first. Up on the ledges, J'es says "117 marks" On the hatching sands, Jade takes a quick breath On the hatching sands, Timid Kelly Green Hatchling has arrived. On the hatching sands, Pinnate Blue-Green Egg splits open to reveal a Timid Kelly Green Dragonet who seems rather reluctant to leave the pile of shards around her. On the hatching sands, Jalyn shakes with anticipation... On the hatching sands, As the shards break and fall away around her, this green dragonet seems reluctant to stand up or move away from them. She blinks as she turns her head uncertainly to look all around. Her whirling eyes are almost the exact same yellow green color as her hide, which is more yellow on her body and gradually becomes darker green on her wing tips and tail. She is unusually quiet as she slowly struggles up to her feet, very unsteady without the aid of the wings she keeps held close to her large but not ungainly body. Finally, she lets out a very quiet creel, as loneliness and hunger overwhelm her, and she hesitantly looks around shyly at the candidates. Nana claps her hands excited and points to the egg! On the hatching sands, M'gan smiles proudly as he watches the eggs, his hand in Darci's. On the hatching sands, Keara squeezes Nekamah's hand, holding her breath. Up on the ledges, C'trel says "Small change. But I'll take it." Flavio cheers. Up on the ledges, J'es nods On the hatching sands, Dantassii smiles at the green breaks out. Beneath his hide, well-proportioned muscles struggle and strain as he plows his way across the Hatching Grounds. He meets each obstacle in his path with a cool determination, and each time he begins to totter or stumble, he gets right back up and keeps on going. With a delighted warble she fans her wet wings, displaying a brilliant color of green jade, smooth and even, without a hint of a flaw. Her sleek body and strongly muscled hind legs glisten damply with the same green, but are dappled with shy hints of blue. Her nature is dominated by the same cheerful outlook that her dam possesses; even the fierce hunger she feels cannot dispel her joy as she surveys everything around her. His hide is not one shade of blue, but many; his underbelly is a royal blue, but his flanks are several shades darker, and almost metallic in appearance. His hide, a rich reddish brown that draws your attention somewhat, helps to hide the fact that he is somewhat disproportionate and gawky, with overly large wings and thick forearms. He pauses, swiveling his head around to look at his proud sire, and stumbles as he discovers craning his neck in such a fashion makes him lose his balance. But even as he falls, he keeps his eyes fixed on the bronze, watching and learning while he struggles back to his feet and stands in awkward imitation. Occasionally, he looks up to the galleries or to the ledges, captivated by the larger dragons and everything around him. But each time, his needs draw him back to gaze intently at each candidate, and he moves swiftly among them as he hunts for just the right one. The color of a cool forest at dusk, her hide is almost uniform in shade, except for a few spots where a streak of darker or lighter green provides a splash of variety that brings out her lovely hue fully.
