Description
Tall. Slender. Statuesque. She is possessed of a classical beauty that's only grown more refined over the turns - courtesy of good genetics and cunning application of cosmetics. Her hair is black and fairly long, though generally pinned up and out of the way. Her eyes are gray, her skin is pale, and the only mar to her face is a beauty mark that perches high on her left cheek. She is always clad in fine clothing and never, ever, seen when she's not fully put together. Add in the silver tongue of a well-trained Harper and the image of this Pernese femme fatale is complete.

History
She was born at Crom to a prominent Harper (Master Wellain, NPC) and was quick to take after him in both Craft and specialty. Her mother died in childbirth, but her father was never without women - and Yewlani was never without a plethora of female role-models who were all quite skilled in conniving marks and gifts from the man. Of course, he was nofool and knew fully well what was happening - and, thus, did Yewlani's education truly begin.
She became a Harper at thirteen and was dangerously adept in the Craft as a whole. She eschewed the traditional course as a musician and became a lawyer/arbiter in the same way as her father. When she was eighteen, he passed away - and left her with a considerable sum of marks. She would build her own wealth in the same way - or by earning favors from both clients and those men who were gullible enough to believe her.
When tensions arose between Crom Hold and High Reaches, she sided with the 'Reaches. She attempted to get in Lord Aughan's good graces to sway him to her side - but all she ended up being was pregnant at twenty-two turns of age. She claims he's the father and that she has the means to back it up - but her history is more than enough to cast doubt on that claim.
She would eventually marry Pulhaun of Seven Echoes Hold - a very minor Holding in Crom's territory - and have five more children. None, however, are as prized as her eldest son.
10.01.36.I10 - Yewlani is admitted to the Healers under the care of Mindhealers after the truth is (kinda-sorta) admitted. Aughan is definitely not the father - and Yewlani is most certainly and certifiably insane.

Paulan: Son. Unfortunate. - Well. If you can't be handsome, at least be handy. You'll grind Seven Echoes into the dirt, but that's on your father's shoulders now.
Ulahaun: Son. Clever. - If all you get from me is my intelligence, then you'll do well. Even if you are in that horrid place.
Yuhana: Daughter. Shadow. - Make mommy proud, darling. Sing your heart out - but never give it away. And if you find yourself with a tongue that's silver enough to convince the Healers that I'm not mad...
