Mug to lips and Milani just regards Ulestien for a long moment. "So ... that takes up a lot of your thinking time?" she asks after a moment. "Not you know, the philosophy of the world, or current events or anything?"

Ulestien is grinning all the more at her question, shaking his head. "Ah, but I couldn't right tell what goes through this brain of mine." He muses, considering. "But no, that's not all I think about. Ones thoughts should be his own, at least in the presence of a lady so that he can appear the gentlemen." A teasing wink in her direction before he folds his arms, at least /he/ looks in brighter spirits now.

What /does/ Yuliye do with her days that she's able to drift out of the hallway off which her room lies in a nightgown robe combo and sleep-mussed hair. Even her eyes have the swollen quality of not being quite awake yet, a squinted look being granted the rest of the common room as she shuffles out towards where the water caverns must be. "Need my own bath," is possibly what that mumbled sound might translate to. Maybe.

Sitting near one of he tables, klah mug resting there, Milani's in a chair looking up at Ulestien, the two in conversation while a very small group of aunties clusters by the hearth today: it's nice out, most of the Weyr's denizens are working or outside, even the elderly in a sunny patch along a section of the bowl wall. "Appear a gentleman, but not actually be one?" Millie question next, gaze slipping past Lest to Yuliye and her bed-head. "You look like you could use a really strong mug of klah," she offers over in friendly fashion to the Crom woman.

Ulestien is looking over at Yuliye as she exits her room, her mumbling has him lifting his brows slightly. But, he says nothing. He's polite, afterall. Towards Milani, he grins. "Either or. Some prefer appearances over the actual act of being one. It is a lot of work to /always/ be good." His grin is teasing, along with that look in his eyes as he moves to draw up his own chair.

Milani's friendly meets the grumbly mumble of Yuliye's sleepy. Two slim hands come up to obscure her face for a moment, when so caught in such a state and pointed out with that greeting, the base of her palms rising to rub frenetically at her eyes before they part and fall down her cheek, stretching the skin in their wake. It seems to work though! (A little bit.) For when her hands drop to tighten the tie around her waist, she looks and sounds a little more awake. That is until the stench of her own breath causes her to lift a hand to test once more and make a face. "Guh. I need a bath." She keeps her distance from civilization, staying just clear of Ulestien and Milani and those troublesome gossiping aunties. Ah, the life of communal living. "In my room."

That draws a faint smile from Milani. "Mm. Well, I'm all for the real deal," she says and draws her mug towards herself, curling both hands around it as Yuliye continues to grumbly-mumble through life. "I don't think the plumbing works that way, sadly," Millie says with sympathy. "Could use on emyself. Though I suppose there's always asking a smith about it and paying a nice fee for the work."

Ulestien lifts a brow at Yuliye, chuckling softly. "So you've said." He agrees, then is tilting that look of his towards Milani. "The real deal? Well, I'm afraid you'll only find me being a gentleman on the good days." Though, no specification between which days are good or the bad ones. A grin for both the women, "would imagine it would cost quite a lot to get a bath in your room. Might want to see about someone bringing warm buckets of water in. But, might be cold by the time it gets there."

Yuliye's pretty, if sleep bloated face wilts. It just wilts. But no matter, there's that toss of her hair in all its unkempt glory and the world rights itself with that reflexive motion. Her perky chin lifts and those hazel eyes, framed by such long lashes, shuts once (very tightly) and opens to be even more awake than before. "I'll just use Tiriana's." Because it's too much bother figuring out how to get the plumbers to fix her room and oh the headache. It's now, on a second glance over the pair that she recognizes Milani though a more quizzical uplift of her brows finds Ulestien. "Headwoman," says the Crom lady a little more politely with first a nod for Milani, and then a tilted head look for the man. "Man talking to Headwoman."

"MIght be a cold walk across the bowl in the winter, but, I do hear you," Milani says and pulls a small notebook out of her pocket makes a note. "Ask about spending marks on more private baths," she makes the note. "Your guess is as good as mine about whether or not that'll get approved." And back to Lest. "That's ... really not a good idea. Sloppy mess all the way from the bathing caverns."

Ulestien eyes Yuliye again, lifting both brows this time before he's offering. "Ulestien." For her, chuckling as he turns his attention away from her and back towards Milani as they discuss the baths. He's shrugging, "it would make a mess. But, if you don't want to pay for the plumbing?"

"If you could look into that, that'd be wonderful. If some of the ground weyrs have baths, how is it none of the rooms do? Or are they taken?" There's a grimace for the mention of winter, an expression that mars Yuliye's face just a moment. But! There are new people to see, new faces to digest, and new names to get acquainted with. A reflexive hand climbs to tame her unruly hair, but it's a fruitless endeavor that leads the Crom woman to merely sigh and spare Ulestien a twinkle-eyed look and wry smile. Repetition of, "Ulestien," is followed by her own name, "Yuliye. Some people call me Yuli. I would say it's a pleasure to meet you, but I'm not sure you'd think likewise." Self-deprecatingly, she glances down at herself before slowly lifting those eyes to pin to the man. "I'm in such a state."

"It has something to do with where the pipes are and where the rooms are and the rock in the Weyr," Milani explains. "And that's about all I know about it. But I'll keep it on my list of pipe dreams for the Weyr," she assures. "Just you know, can't just do it for one room if it's a Weyr project." Millie holds out her mug of klah to Yuliye. "I've only had a mouthful or two if you don't mind sharing."

Ulestien inclines his head slightly, "Yuliye." He repeats, chuckling softly. "Not at all, you look quite lovely now. I imagine you look even better when you're not in such a state." A teasing grin as he looks towards Milani. "I imagine the rocks would cause a lot more problems trying to do the piping. But, I really know nothing about that.."

"Oh! Aren't you so sweet?" Delight pushes past the remnant fog of sleep and she flashes a smile at Ulestien that's meant to be dazzling. It still might be for all that she's bloaty and Milani's offer is waved off. Yuliye's feet turn to continue down to the lower caverns and out to Tiriana's weyr somewhere. "Bath first. See you later."

"Big project either way," Milani says and tucks her notebook away, nods as Yuliye departs. "Enjoy the bath and I hope it helps with you know," she circles her head a little, indicating hangover.

Ulestien grins, "I try." He offers towards Yuliye with a soft chuckle before he's eyeing Milani again at her gesture. Chuckling again, he grins. "Big projects aren't such a bad thing. It's a matter of getting it approved, hm?"

And down that hallway Yuliye goes, shuffling again.
