| High above High Reaches, Cadejoth rolls and dives, enjoying the summer evening with a palpably electric joy. He shares it, letting sparks buzz down the lengths of his chains, letting them spread further and further amidst the twilight. This? This is perfection. (To High Reaches dragons from Cadejoth) To High Reaches dragons, Tsanth « Show off. » Show off? Cadejoth? Surely not! Is a dragon not allowed to share his joy? Is he not permitted-- no, encouraged!-- to brighten the days of others, when he can? True, it may be less fair for those poor dragons who cannot join him in the skies, but the rest... « You should join me. » (To High Reaches dragons from Cadejoth) To High Reaches dragons, Iesaryth doesn't necessarily need to fly to enjoy the weather or the evening; she's been in her spot on the rim of the bowl all day to watch as she does, bright as the sun above (but not that bright). Though she doesn't agree with Tsanth, her rustle and spread of wings is perhaps along those lines. There's a certain amount of critical observance of Cadejoth, from Tsanth's position on the sands of the lake below. « Nah, that's alright. You're not exactly my type. » (To High Reaches dragons from Tsanth) He's envious, and wanting to get up with the adults, damnit! (To High Reaches dragons from Ilicaeth) To High Reaches dragons, Cadejoth is in too good a mood to be daunted by Iesaryth, and Tsanth? Hah. As if. Instead, he offers the bronze an image of himself, green-bronze turned rather more distinctly green, his lanky self streamlined and curvified. Better? To Ilicaeth: « Soon. » Patience, grasshopper! (As if Cadejoth has ever been patient about anything.) He doesn't take much time to think about it. « You're really not my type if you're... both. » That's his dry, amused response from where he rests. (To High Reaches dragons from Tsanth) To High Reaches dragons, Cadejoth doesn't seem bothered by the fact that this conversation is being shared so widely; actually, he seems heartily amused by it, rattling his chains in a merry clatter (though not so loudly that he'll wake those who might be resting). « How can you know, if you've never tried? » If anything, Iesaryth is suspicious of Cadejoth's good mood, but that's hardly a surprise. She is not the sort of queen to do much about it though, as her suspicious is nothing like her rider's... and frankly, the conversation is really starting to entertain her. « If you keep this up, none will allow you to chase anymore. Do you have identity issues, Cadejoth? » (To High Reaches dragons from Iesaryth) To High Reaches dragons, Tsanth certainly doesn't seem to be bothered by the conversation, either. But why would he? He's so amazing, no one would ever really think any less of him. That's for sure. « If I go up there, I will catch you. » If. If he gets up. Amazing. Amazingly lazy. It's true. He constantly *sees* dragons up there, and so Ilicaeth's projections of himself swooping and maneuvering through the air all about Cadejoth are good... but there's something lacking...likely the actual *experience* of such to round out things. (To High Reaches dragons from Ilicaeth) « On the contrary, » says Cadejoth, with a *bzt* of static, aimed Iesaryth-wards. « I know exactly who I am. And what. » And if there's some kind of weight behind that... well, it's subtle. « I'd like to see you try, Tsanth. I dare you. » He doesn't seem to expect much. For Ilicaeth, this young-at-heart grandsire adjusts those images, just so: there, bronze (and not green) dragon, blue beside him, hurtling about the spires. Perfect. (To High Reaches dragons from Cadejoth) The sand down here is warm. The waters aren't warm, but they're calm and they reflect the sun so nicely. Cadejoth is... he's not very attractive. That's for certain, damn skinny bronze-green bronze. « You're going to have to just keep dreaming about me spreading my wings over you. » Yeah, Cadejoth was right to not expect terribly much. He's nothing if not a little predictable. (To High Reaches dragons from Tsanth) Very little bothers Iesaryth on all but the worst of days, and such as it is now. With a spray of seafoam for his static, easy and amused, « As do I. » It's not as if the queen can be questioned there! To the young blue, « It does take forever. But it is worth it. » She doesn't bother pretending it's easy to wait. She hated it. HATED. (To High Reaches dragons from Iesaryth) « YES! » The call is loud and brash in both its enthusiasm and delight, Ilicaeth's bright, almost powdery dust/sands of a thousand glittering colors as they swirl and dance around both grandsire and himself! (To High Reaches dragons from Ilicaeth) « I'll grow up quickly and outfly everyone but the smallest of greens! » Ilicaeth crows to Iesaryth. (To High Reaches dragons from Ilicaeth) If Cadejoth could stick his tongue out... alas, he cannot. he's also, abruptly, quite distracted. « Oh! » he says. « We're going out. » There's a hint of something in his thoughts, abruptly, there and then gone again. « Maybe you can have a cuddle with me later, Tsanth. » He is so pretty, Tsanth. So there. As abruptly as his thoughts reached out in the first place, he's gone-- gone far away, into the evening. Somewhere. (To High Reaches dragons from Cadejoth) To High Reaches dragons, Tsanth « Maybe? I take my cuddles where I want. Ask Tacuseth. » To High Reaches dragons, Iesaryth is, as abruptly, wary - ocean's waves darkened entirely by someone else's thoughts... but that fades into mellow sunny skies soon enough. It's not Iesaryth that's paranoid... It's definitely as feeling of 'Awwwwwwwww!' given off from the little blue as his grandsire disappears over the horizon, so-to-speak, Ilicaeth supplying Cajedoth with a firey, spectacular sunset, a grittey desert far below, and a few roaming runnerbeasts and herdbeasts to top it all off. (To High Reaches dragons from Ilicaeth) To High Reaches dragons, Cadejoth shares nothing more. Too busy doing Important Things, maybe. |
