Remember, they said. Like she had time for it? Like she wanted to? But it was time to write to her cousins anyway. And this, an explanation of this thing that the Reaches did, would fill the space. She had already lifted a ribbon for her niece, to tie her long hair back with. She might have pressed flowers for her but that would have taken too long. Would have been too delicate. And she hadn't for so long besides. She had nothing for the boy. If he even wanted anything. But that's what he had parents for, to explain.
