Help:Character Pages

NorCon's wiki is set up to automatically generate a page for every character. New characters will receive a page within 24 hours of being approved.

To simplify the process, these pages are pre-populated with information from your +sheet on game; you will not need to update things like rank, location, craft, dragon, etc.

Once your page has been created, however, you may like to add other details.

To do this, browse to your page and under 'Page tools' click 'edit with form.'

This will take you to a webform that will allow you to fill in other information - family and friends details - and upload a character picture. There is also a larger box where you can add any other information you'd like to - history, descriptions, relationships with other characters; whatever you'd like.

You may also like to add your character to different categories - for example, to indicate where they were born, or other places they have lived.

Once you've updated your page, you may also like to add some icons. To do this, click 'Add New' and then 'Multi-Upload.' Icon names must be begin with Icon_<charactername> to show up on your character page. Character names can be in upper or lowercase, but must match the name of the page (nicknames won't work).

Character page data is generally updated from the database once a day. Please don't worry if your data doesn't immediately reflect what is on game!
