| On day 2, month 7, turn 20, Rhuvawn of Ruatha River Hold was wed to young Eidee of Fort Sea in what some might say was an over the top affair more seen to be Lord Rivellan's day in the spotlight than his beloved daughter's big day. Somewhere amongst his speeches and grand statements, he did find the time to profusely thank the Crafters of Fort Weyr for their work and managed to make no mention of any bad blood between the Weyr and his Hold. Is all forgiven? The groom himself was rather quiet - some say merely rather obviously infatuated with his bride - prompting mutterings that the region had better hope that Rhuvawn is his own man. But considering how this whole wedding has been handled, with what's said to be no argument and next to no input from Ruatha River, some are murmuring that it could be a sign of things to come. Could this be another port under Rivellan's thumb? |
