The news is bad from Ruatha. The drums sound before dawn on day 26. Lord Giarnon was the last of the family to succumb to the illness and the last to die. Ruatha is left in the care of their steward, a man who only recently succeeded the last upon his all too recent death (due to plague). Overall, there are fewer deaths in Ruatha than there were in Southern Boll and more of the ill are reported to be recovering. |
