Early in the evening on the 23rd day of month 10, nearly two sevens after the meteor tragedy, the disaster took another two lives: those of K'vas and brown Tethueth, members of the most recent weyrling class. Exactly what happened remains unknown. By all reports, K'vas and a few clutchmates were out drinking during the afternoon, and the young brownrider returned home early - and never made it. Assumptions are that perhaps he forgot about the changed visual, or perhaps because he wasn't as used to it he fumbled; whatever it was, he and Tethueth never made it out from Between. Those who knew K'vas will remember him as an bright and enthusiastic young man, excited by everything. He was a member of the leadership program, and considered to have a bright future. All riders are now reminded to take extra care in their Betweening. Anyone not sure of the new weyr visual should continue to return to the weyr via High Reaches Hold.
