| Obsidian's gotten itself an 'emergency' new wingleader as N'kan suddenly resigned this seven. Rumor has it the bluerider was fed-up with the Weyrleader's apparent prejudices against blue and green riders and the amount of time it was taking for T'rev to replace him. N'kan's now officially retired and has taken up a permanent watchriding post down at one of Boll's small holds where it's warm all turn and he can kick back and relax on the beach when not on duty. R'lis, bronze Istoreth's from Agate wing has been promoted into the wingleader spot of Obsidian and has been ordered to fill up the vacant 'second positions as quickly as possible. What does this bode for Obsidian? Who knows. R'lis is certainly personable enough and seemed to have impressed Agate's wingleader enough to earn a recommendation to the Weyrleader. Of course, he's a /bronze/rider which might just start more whispers about T'rev's apparent prejudices and the fellow is also apparently even /more/ of a womanizer than the Weyrleader, though of course, such behavior doesn't have anything to do with a person's abilities as a leader. Right? |
