| He's here. That's reason enough for her to watch him. In fact, if Reisoth were any less intelligent, he might not even realize she was the reason he was being watched. Well, okay, she's a baby now, barely hours old and so probably any other dragon she watches can tell she's watching, but one day, it will not be so. Taeliyth's watching is mental, vigilant and after a moment her mind reaches out an experimental tendril of thought that might be a vine, or something less innocuous simply holding the guise of such. Tickle tickle~ She awaits a response. (To Reisoth from Taeliyth) To Taeliyth, Reisoth pays the vigilance little mind when it first begins. Or when he first becomes aware of it, which may not be exactly the same moment. It's not until she seems to want a reaction from him that the bronze acknowledges her presence. Perhaps he was humoring her trying to watch him without his knowledge. « Hello, young queen. » « Like what you saw? » Taeliyth quips toward the bronze as her opening line. « Those eggs, those sands. Nice, right? » Perhaps she's trying to suss out her own feelings on them when she must know nothing to compare it to - not that she'd readily admit that. (To Reisoth from Taeliyth) « I've seen many hatchings. This one was much the same as others. But, I suppose, this one had you, and that was quite nice. » Reisoth is super smooth, his deep baritone entirely sincere. He even offers her a brief glimpse of his own memory, from above the hatching sands, of her breaking through her warped shell. (To Taeliyth from Reisoth) To Reisoth, Taeliyth is smugly amused. « It was awfully convenient for me, » she's nearly coy in saying it, though with the complete innocence of youth. « Is that the only reason you came? To see the eggs hatch? » To Taeliyth, Reisoth is amused, too, but not exactly smug. He's amused by her youth. « No. Not the only reason. But the main reason. » His presence shifts, slightly heavy and then not. « Have I overstayed my welcome? » « Not yet! » is flippantly tossed back with the implication that she'll not take the option off the table as they go along. She's generous like that! Taeliyth's youth is used, charming, or trying to, « You had other reasons for coming? Like what? » (To Reisoth from Taeliyth) The bronze sighs mentally, as though he's growing bored of the hatchling's inquiries. « H'vier wished to visit with your dam's rider. » It's a rather polite way of saying it, whatever it is. But Reisoth would be a poor dragon to explain these things even if he were willing to. All he shares with Taeliyth is that it's boring and unnecessary. (To Taeliyth from Reisoth) « Lilah, » Taeliyth names her thoughtfully. « Why? » is pointed. Why would anyone do something that's boring and unnecessary? Particularly, in the company of one as important as Eliyaveith's rider. (To Reisoth from Taeliyth) To Taeliyth, Reisoth considers the question for several moments, then offers, « He enjoys her company. » Simple. « You're rather presumptuous, aren't you. » It's not really a question because he's already decided that she is. But the bronze seems amused by it, rather than accusing. To Reisoth, Taeliyth doesn't miss a beat. Her rejoining sass is so cheerful it might not be sass at all. « I could say the same of you and your rider. He does have special writ all over him, doesn't he. » It might even be a compliment. « See that you don't let him presume too much. I should hate for you both to overstay your welcome, » it sounds very nearly genuine. It could even be. She may not even be sure herself. Though a flicker of watchfulness might remain at some distance until the bronze sees fit to depart Fort, her attention is given over to something more immediate for now, so much to do outside of the shell! « I'm quite certain that Eliyaveith will tell us when she and her rider have had enough of our company. » Not that Reisoth has seemed particularly interested in Taeliyth's dam. Once the hatchling's attention has wandered, as much as it does, a breath of the Reachian bronze's presence continues to follow her along for some time. At least until she becomes less interesting to observe. (To Taeliyth from Reisoth) |

I am loving watching Taeliyth's interactions with all these other dragons. She's going to be a force, once she's really got things down. *rubs hands together in anticipation*
