Lady Miule has lived up to her standard as Pern's new "It Girl" these last few months since her marriage to Lord Tristen, but it's at the gather at Ista Hold on day 23, month 6, that tongues really get to wagging. She's seen wearing a pale blue confection with navy damask pattern and a gossamer trail to match fluttering sleeves ([1]). People are raving about her dress even before they leave the gather, and in the days following, Weavercraft Hall is inundated with requests for the exact same style. Not to be outshone by the newest Lady Holder on the scene, Lady Shalisse of Southern caused quite a stir a seven later when she was seen at the Crom Hold gather on day 3, month 7 wearing a satin head wrap pinned with glittering jewels ([2]) - a ransom's worth, a few sources suggest. She has always favored outlandish fashion and bold colors, but this latest accessory trumps anything in her repertoire to date.
