| On Day 22, month 5, gossip centering around Hematite took an entirely new shift. It's been reported that Weyrsecond E'dre was seen at the morning drills dressed in a pink dress - a dress clearly meant for a Holder (and a woman!) with the amount of tulle, lace, and bejeweled bodice. He was said to have shrugged off all questions and waved off laughter and teasing without commenting on /why/ he was wearing a dress. How he managed to finish the drill and his duties the rest of the day /in/ that dress is reflective on just how particular and clean E'dre is known to be anyway. Will the dress make a repeat? Has the Weyrsecond lost his mind? Was N'muir watching? Perhaps, with the Weyrleader's recent shadowing of wings, E'dre will be demoted finally and someone 'younger' may take his place as a Weyrsecond. Or so the gossip says. |
