| Day 17, Month 10, Hematite returned from morning sweeps as usual -- and that is about where all normalcy ceased to continue. The wing (and as many friends as could be convinced) got drunk in the Glass Fountain over lunchtime - by N'muir's order. Rumour says the Weyrleader (who is better known for his /ban/ of alcohol early in his tenure) was buying rounds, singing songs, and generally being jolly and fun. Others claim he passed out snuggled on a bench with brownrider E'dre, who very publicly and recently broke his hand on N'muir's face. But that part might be made up. It seems that now other wingleaders are being encouraged to organize regular 'Wing Events' involving fun or relaxing activities for dragonriders and their friends. Some wonder what has brought on such a sudden change of attitude, but everyone appears to be taking advantage of it. |
