The weyrlings from Iovniath and Cadejoth's final clutch had been out on a camping trip when Rielsath began to glow. The eldest of High Reaches' queens waited until they returned to feed to commence her flight, giving the weyrlings - many of whom had not yet chased so much as a green - a trial by fire as far as flights go. To complicate matters further, it was one of those self-same weyrlings who caught the glowing queen. Worse still, it was a brown, Vysravth, whose rider, E'gin, was one of the exiles. Complicated indeed!

Despite this inauspicious beginning, Rielsath laid a fairly standard sized clutch of twelve on High Reaches' sands some time later, and these twelve eggs hatched healthily into two bronzes, two browns, three blues and five greens.
