He's a hunter, a prowler: a mid-sized bronze with outsized appetites and equally ginormous wings. Nor are the shades of his hide particularly subtle, though they must serve as camouflage somewhere; he's all fired up in sedimentary shades that near brown and gold as they layer across his narrow frame, paling in long scratches down his throat and deeper gouges along his belly. Another stripe blazes from his broad brow, between forward-set eyes and all the way down to his acutely narrow but strong-jawed, toothy snout; his neckridges are spiky, his forelegs a touch smaller than the norm, his hindquarters solid with the promise of muscle aplenty while his tail is both long and strong. As for those wings, they might as well be comet-blazed, chased with coppery highlights over a bronze as dark as his predatory claws.

Peer Pressure Egg(s)

The four eggs in this cluster are all super unique: though all edgily pointy and attired in black, they're different shades of black from aubergine to clove, anise to ashes.

Dislikes: Blues, talking, waiting, being told what to do, being held back, order, rank, cleanliness, losing.

Temper: Yes

Patience: No

Public Impression Message

It's even as the candidates begin to arrive on the sands that the quartet of black eggs lead the charge, shells breaking away to reveal one bronze, one brown, one blue and one green, all sharp-edged and superior. It's the blue that leads the way after that, rather more nimble than his siblings - but all of them find partners in short order amid the milling white-robed candidates.

Private Impression Message

Impression tears your mind and guts, hot and wet and acrid and violent. Two thoughts at once are powerful enough to take on the form of words, wild and roared and barely separate: « A'RIST. LYTHRONATH. »

Mindvoice

Lythronath is hardly a dragon of pretence, and this is abundantly clear in his mindvoice. He doesn't talk so much as he just feels out loud, for everyone to hear and feel along with him. There's no room for distinctive imagery or extra fluff in there. His use of verbal language is minimal at best, especially as a young dragon. As he gets older, he'll (grudgingly) come to accept that he has to make sentences (sometimes), and will (sometimes), but always with full-on honesty, emotion, and intent.

Itchyspots

Lythronath has pretty pronounced eyeridges, which are going to require all sorts of care (read: oiling) even after he's done growing. He's a dragon who gets into things, and those eyeridges are, after all, going to get the brunt of whatever that happens to be, be it high winds, snow, sand, gore, or pretty much anything else he finds.

Dragon Inspirations

Lythronath is based on Lythronax argestes, the new tyrannosaurid recently discovered in Utah. When asked what Lythronax ate, paleontologist Mark Loewen answered, "Whatever it wants." If that doesn't qualify Lythronath as a gladiator, what else possibly could?

Egg Inspiration: Wouldn't you do just about anything to win the respect of your peers?

Clutches

Lythronath has produced 1 gold, 2 bronze, 2 brown, 3 blue, and 5 green dragons.
