Meteor Shower Egg
You see a small, jet black egg that is a slightly lopsided oval. As you peer more closely at it, you can see hundreds of tiny silver dots scattered across its entire surface. All along one side is a cluster of slender white, red and silver streaks, coming down from the tip of the egg towards its base. On the other side are two larger silver dots, about the size of a woman's fingertip. The base has a tinge of gray, and you feel that you are witnessing a rare meteor shower as you gaze upon it.
Thud! Crack! The hole in the Meteor Shower Egg widens, bit by tiny bit, until a little brown dragonet finally breaks through to fall to the sands.
Autumnal Forest Foliage Brown
Deep set eye ridges give this dragon a contemplative look that then combines with small headknobs, laid back against the skull, and a slight tilt to his lips to create a more mischievous air. A short neck and a longer tail mix with a torso that is not overly wide to give a sly and almost serpentine like appearance. Large wings and strong forearms make it clear that this is a dragon of the finest breed, born of High Reaches and obviously proud of his heritage. His hide glistens with health and the color of a forest floor in autumn. Russet, rust, umber and hints of green are patched through his hide like so many leaves. Across his shoulders the fiery oranges and reds so known in autumn times are heavily mixed with the deep umber of earth and bark. The green tints that manage to sneak through are few and far between on his hide, though they make a stronger appearance across his huge sails. Those sails, big as they are, also hold the forests floor within their depths, yet the lightness of grass and moss can be seen along the edges and peeking through the fall hues. Mainly the dark umber is in the tones of his wings, highlighted by the orange rust and mossy greens. The spars that hold his magnificent wings aloft are another dazzling sight to behold. Wings the color of the first autumn leaf, an almost metallic orange that gleams when oiled look strong, powerful and capable of carrying him long and far. Darker lines can be seen within the orange of his wings, like the vein of the dried leaf they so represent.
Public Impression Message
In careful steps, the Autumnal Forest Foliage Brown Dragonet approaches a clustered grouping of female Candidates. Unfortunately, he does not notice the tail of a green clutchmate flicking in front of his path. He trips, his dignified visage burying itself in the sand as his eyes roll up, up, up to meet the gaze of his future.
