Fire's Dancing Shadows Egg

When the night is col and dreary, and toes and fingers crispy. A handsomely crackling fire warms both spirit and body. Yet upon the walls and settings it's glow is mingled with shadows. Dancing shapes and tendrils leap within the light that falls. This combined power of fiery warmth and twining, shadowy tongues is now cast upon this large ovid. Up and down and around and twisting about at all angles it would seems. Beautiful, simple, elegant and then you notice that as you move these designs and patterns truly seem to dance.

A series of small cracking sounds are heard, and several holes appear in the Fires Dancing Shadows Egg, each one showing either foot, or snout, or tiny wingtip.

Elegant Sun-Dappled Rust Brown

From graceful neck ridges, to long spade tipped tail; this small brown is the essence of elegance. Muscles are set for a streamlined and dexterous body that when he grows to his full size and quickness will belittle his larger companions. His wings are not as wide as most, but they are long and will add to his maneuverability in the air. Even his head knobs have a slim and fit appearance as they sweep back from his eyeridges in a smooth flow. His hide is akin to rusty copper long submerged beneath a clear stream and dappled by bright sunlight. The hue flows over his hide in a steady ease, even continuing up his wing spars to some degree. This overall shading is most appealing, but not metallic by any right and definitely more russet than anything else. Sails and spars are of a slightly deeper shade of brownish orange. The sails are slightly different from the supporting spars with a tincture at their middle of a quite vibrant orange, which fades to a darker tin at the tips. The tin color is reminiscent in hue of the wing spars, but is set off by slightly lighter shading. Long spars are dappled in a way similar to the rest of his hide except that they appear to be more like the bark of a tree with varying deep shades, much like grooves in appearance, in them. Overall, this is one of the fittest of High Reaches' newest browns.

Public Impression Message

Step, step -no, glide. This one glides, with an smoothness almost not to be believed for an ungainly newborn dragonet. The Elegant Sun-Dappled Rust Brown Dragonet makes his way methodically around the Candidates, pausing occasionally with a quick lift of his muzzle to look one over. Always, though, he moves on...until his whirling eyes lock on one. Yes, him. -That- one.
