| What: Elaruth takes to the skies again and Hattie delivers a son. |

| It's been nearly a turn since Elaruth last made it into the skies proper, but, early afternoon of day 14, month 2, Fort's Senior queen was seen making a slow aerial circuit of the bowl that was neither terribly graceful nor particularly steady, but a journey through the skies nonetheless. It's not certain whether she can manage more than that for the time being, for another event drew her back down to her ledge, rumoured to have been brought on by the stress of the queen's brief return to the skies. However true that is will likely be known only to a few, but it could merely be a coincidence that Hattie's second son was welcomed into the world by evening, named by dragon whisper as Hasander. It was later confirmed that the boy has been named not only after his parents, but also Journeyman Healer Isandre, who has been with the Weyrwoman for the birth of each of her children. Hattie isn't exactly known for taking extended leave, but will be on reduced duties for the next few sevendays, during which it's presumed that junior weyrwoman Brin and Headwoman Shevena and her assistants will take care of the day to day running of Fort. |
