Delivered only a few days after the incident are the condolences of Ierne's Weyrleaders--and a second, separate letter from Tiriana herself. Dear K'del, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. It's unfortunate, if not unexpected, considering the way the way you've treated your Weyrwomen historically. I won't say I told you so, but I never liked that idiot girl and I'm not surprised that between the two of you, you ran my Weyr into the ground. It's a shame there's no Thread to stake people out for now. I hope you die painfully too.
