| Some say that she had company, others that the weyrwoman was merely sleeping through the lunch hour, but for whatever reason, Hattie was seen scrambling for the hatching cavern with her laces untied and her shirt half-buttoned around midday of day 2, month 11. Elaruth made much less of a spectacle of herself, what with how she crept off quietly to go about the business of laying her first clutch. The event was without incident, if quite a lengthy process, but by late afternoon there were fourteen eggs to be found neatly arranged on the Sands. If there's talk of Elaruth being rather fidgety and of eggs being nudged a fraction this way, then that way, well, it /is/ her first clutch and presumably she'll settle down in a day or two. With the eggs having arrived, riders have officially been dispatched on Search, but will Candidates from certain locations be made to feel welcome? |
