| Nearly a full sevenday after Elaruth imposed a lockdown on all Fortian dragons, most are now permitted to leave the Weyr again. It remains to be seen what reaction the region's holders will have to having been without dragonrider assistance with anything at all, though most weyrfolk are assuming that it won't have done Fort any favours. If there's been any communication about it thus far, it's been kept incredibly quiet. Perhaps they'll blame the new Weyrleader? At least a dozen riders remain grounded, though most are no longer confined to quarters. Isaphe and Nyvenirth continue to be kept in the infirmaries, with rumours of the former's sedation now doing the rounds. Have these riders committed a crime? Do they know something they shouldn't? Do the Weyrleaders need to shut them up? And what of the Weyrleader himself, among the dozen? Those flying sweeps will surely be interrogated by any holder to flag them down. |
