| Jo received the brief note from Greenfields summoning her for a 'sensitive package'. What she found upon arriving was the very thing she was promised by one of her bosses: a firelized egg. One of the riders also under their employ called her at the right time that they were hatching one snowy night, and what she ended up leaving with was a little bronze thing that had the criminal bluerider grinning from ear to ear. Tacuseth was curious of the little bronze for the moment, but Jo was pleased about how useful the little thing was going to be for business. Instead of finding ways to get her missives delivered off safely, she would now have a direct go-between herself. The name she chose for him was Mime the moment she laid eyes on him in that overheated room. She sought out Lanvec and had a few brief words with him - one of them being to keep her posted on any possible firelizard clutches that they happen upon later on. Perhaps one day she could arrange for the taciturn guard from Pars hold to acquire one of them if the timing's right. She wasn't one to pass up opportunities for potential favors one day owed. It's thinking like this that has kept her from sleeping six feet under. Her latest missive she sends off a sevenday later, the contents within succinct enough to convey the current temperature of the Weyr she's been assigned to:
My dear uncles, Taikrin is now acting Weyrleader. Brieli is now acting Weyrwoman. Things have stabilized, so uncle Lanvec should be please to hear. Things have stabilized, and no further oppositions have developed towards the declared leadership. Taikrin. I am still working to our mutual benefit on her. It appears the Weyr has taken well to her Weyrleadership. As to our children, they have managed to gain the white knot. This should make you all proud. M'ron and Kait guides them well. I have high hopes for Canie, Puris and Sybile. I especially have high hopes for Pracor on bronze. Perhaps he could be the replacement you're looking for? Provided that he does do well for himself on the sands. As always, we look forward to hearing from you. If there's anything you need, ask. I appreciate the gift given to me as well. Ohhhhh. Something for Azaylia to be totes jealous over. I see Jo's not letting any opportunities pass her by... sneaky bluerider. Those candidates are gonna be trouble~
