He's a bear of a brown, thick of shoulder and strong of claw, with wings that he wears like a grand and all-encompassing cape. Erratic neckridges are larger than most; that irregular crest sweeps from his darkly chiseled face over an otherwise mahogany backdrop, carrying that sable hue between swept-back headknobs and down his spine in a long swath to the very tip of his tail; that extremity could be broad and strong and dark like his other limbs, but instead it's also long, apt to coil with supple, surprisingly-quick tensile strength. The only true lightness about his looks-- other than, sometimes, his eyes-- must be the rare gold that shines from beneath his wings, illusory softness and not-so-illusory drama inextricably combined.
