Crow's-plume casts his lumbering form in darkness, pearlised by an oil-like sheen with the faintest shimmer of indigo and teal across the curves of his sturdy physique. Along the inky slope of his muzzle, between those wide eyes and the atramentous 'ridges above them, is a Prussian smudge, fading into the dreamtime whirl that is the dusky darkness of his midnight hide. The stuff of dreams tempers the nightsky canopy of his wings; a whimsical sprinkling of sleep-dust dappling the space between his star-studded sails, turning spars to arenaceous blue-gold, cast along each leading edge to bespeckle the etiolated constellations that mark the inky cosmos of his sides. Three of four paws are marked with the same shade as his nose, while one, the right-fore, bears a flash of light across sooty toes before sinking into ebon talons.
