Miner's Glory Egg
Lhiannonth takes a while to be satisfied with resting place of her next egg, nudging and pushing the sand this way and that to create a suitable nest for it. When the sand is higher on three sides of the depression than elsewhere she seems happy, finally crouching to release a black egg into it's new home.
Cromcoal black with veins of silver and gold spread out to cover this roughly ovoid shape. Uneven bumps rise on the surface giving it the look of unrefined ore. Escarpments of sand rise up on three sides leaving the rest of the egg to gleam with mineral studded brightness.
Black shards scatter to the sands, falling from Miner's Glory Egg as it gets nearer and nearer to the shattering point. The hide inside the shell is dark, and it may be difficult to discern between the dragon hide that's visable and the egg shell. Abruptly a leg finds it's way through, and it's only a second later before the rest follows and a focused brown dragonet reveals himself.
Quagmire Wraith Brown
Don't move too close to this brown, you may fall into his hide and never be recovered. A silent wraith moves down this brown's neck and back; a separate entity to its dragon host. The quagmire it glides over is boiling mud, so brown it is nearly black except at points where a bubble is forming, thinning the brown to a deep tan before it pops with a low sound. The wraith twines about the brown's wings, wrapping their muddied color in a silvery cocoon, much like a spinnerweb. This brown dragonet's eyes whir with dark colors, and any who dare get close enough to him may be in for a startling surprise.
