Apprentice's Glass-Blown Egg
Fissures rapidly spread across the entire shell of the Apprentice's Glass-Blown Egg, and the hole widens suddenly and forcefully, the egg shattering in one movement and falling away, exposing the glistening green body that was inside.
Pretty Peridot Green
A dainty darling, delicate as spun glass, this green is small even for a dragon of her color. Pale peridot shares run their gamut on this fragile lovely's hide, from a rich apple-green caressing headknobs and eyeridges to the barest hint of color on translucent wingsails. Fine-drawn and fragile, she is a sweetheart to her talon-tips, loving and shy. Ah, but looks can be deceiving -- shyness isn't cowardice, nor fragility faintness of heart. If she is jewel-lovely, she is also jewel-hard, jewel-sharp, jewel-priceless. A gem's bright fire burns deep in her heart, and she will give the last ounce -- the last carat -- of value to her lifemate, her world, and her Weyr.
