You Might Vanish Away Egg
Deliriously dreamy, all pale blue-grey smoke, there's something ethereal and not-quite-there about this small egg. Silvery wisps dart towards the lower curve, twining together in a delicate pattern of braided tendrils, light-touched and perfect. Against the pale sands, it appears washed out, likely as not to vanish away entirely at a moment's notice; close-up, it is as intricate and solid as any of its siblings.
Winds of Change Green
Sunlight brings out the golden highlights of this fine-boned green, dreamy-light as summertime's wind-whispered leaves: gilt accenting her long, narrow face, the curious tilt of her headknobs and the soft skin of her muzzle, the distracting whimsy of irregularly-spaced neckridges all the way down to the final quirk of her tail. Moonlight, though, there she's all blued shadows, from the swift pulse at her throat and down through her belly only to rise into the softer curve of her flanks. Always, though, always there are the large, opal-gleaming eyes, so frequently single-lidded, and her thin-sparred, insubstantial-seeming veil of wings that seem attuned to the lightest kiss of breeze.

The You Might Vanish Away Egg cracks along the darker edges of its tendrils in long, ribbon-like wisps, but its former occupant proves to be as insubstantial-looking as her protective shell had been: all gossamer wings and hazy eyes, having a difficult time of it until a girl breathlessly breaks the line of candidates and helps the little green up.

Dragon Inspirations
Egg Inspiration: Snarks and Boojums are, in the novelisation of Star Trek II, the sub-elementary particles that quarks are made of. Both names come from Lewis Carroll's 'The Hunting of the Snark', and this egg was inspired in particular by the song 'Midnight Smoke' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJpB_stxS_E) from the musical inspired by that poem.
