| By the time Jo and Tacuseth gets in from their long day of sweeps, drills and business, the pair is tired and seeking drink to wind down. The leathers come off first once she's in the inner portion of her weyr; half-naked, she's already heading towards her bottles when something colorful and flowery catches her eye up ahead and above her goal. Her steps pause, the bluerider frowning at the display before she walks closer to examine them in full. « Someone's been in our weyr, » Tacuseth notes, his mindvoice matter-of-fact. « And put flowers over my booze, » Jo sends back, heavily bemused. « No note, » as far as she can tell. « It's not Zach's style. » She fingers the bracelet that's around her left wrist as she says it, just a tad uncertain. « An admirer, then? » the blue suggests, the idea not far-fetched. Which was a possibility. Jo leans forward to give the flowers a sniff, then steps back to resume getting herself to drink as she sends, « Yep. Just another one probably thankin' me for rockin' their world some odd night ago. » A big ego is wonderful, isn't it? Content with the notion that this must be the reason, this convict rider goes on about her nightly business, leaving the flowers where they're pinned until they wilt enough for them to be thrown away. |
