| As the last sevenday of month 7 dawns, Hattie's presence in the caverns begins to become a far more frequent sight, and it doesn't take so long for word to get around the Weyr that she's wearing the knot she set aside some months ago, before Lilah's disappearance, though she has been quick to stress to staff, residents and riders alike that she is Acting Weyrwoman only. Given her long recovery from the birth of her daughter, and her months spent off-duty, she has a lot of catching up to do, and though she's been seen putting in the hours, she's also been seen bringing Harriet with her wherever feasible. At least there have been no complaints about the presence of a crying infant at meetings... yet. As for how she feels about the situation - and what N'muir may think - neither has been heard to share their thoughts in public. |
