| Once contact was met and Sybile had relayed what all happened to Jo (who later passed on the information by Mime to Farideh), the rescue operation was in full swing by the next night. The lithe bluerider arrived in the dark of night on foot, dressed head to toe with her features hard to see. She waited where she told Aisari she would be and the girl showed up as bidden. "Quiet," Sybile reiterates, likely not for the first time this night as she guides the girl out of the hold and into the worn and beaten off-path. Once far out of earshot, "We'll walk a bit more, and then we fly," she assures the girl that's practically bouncing around on her feet. Aisari's excitement is almost tangible. Sybile is finding it hard to not roll her eyes right out of their sockets. However, the walk was uneventful, making it to the waiting blue Miroth before the pair was mounted up and off. Miroth went Between in a blink of an eye, and the next thing Aisari sees is the Weyr bowl below her. Of course, Jo gets delivered Aisari first, and the Snowdrift wingsecond says nothing to her other than, "Welcome to the Weyr. Hope ya didn' leave anythin' behind valuable, 'cuz yer ain' goin' back." Probably not ever, and what's unsaid is there in her tone as she leads the teenager right over to Farideh's ledge. She hopes the goldrider is ready. |

It's like Jo runs a moving company. Except instead of boxes she's moving people. And instead of taking money she takes favors. Jo. This is a slippery slope.
