HRW:Weyrleader Timeline
On NorCon
Iolene and Ysavaeth
Day 22, Month 3, Turn 29
(Jul 13, 2012 -)
Ysavaeth surprised everyone by rising less than a turn after her first flight - and outside the weyr at that. Iolene's tenure as Weyrwoman has been difficult at best; it remains to be seen how matters will play out longer term.
- K'del and Cadejoth (Jul 13, 2012)
Lujayn and Rielsath
Day 19, Month 12, Turn 28, Tenth Interval - Day 22, Month 3, Turn 29 (Acting)
(Jun 5-Jul 13, 2012)
K'del's successful ploy to have Tiriana ousted and banished left High Reaches with three queens: Rielsath, the exile queen Ysavaeth whose rider had never been properly trained as a weyrwoman, and barely-hatched Hraedhyth. It was no surprise, then, that Lujayn was named Acting Weyrwoman, to serve until the next flight - which would, most likely, be that of her Rielsath.
- K'del and Cadejoth (Jun 5, 2012 - Jul 13, 2012)
Tiriana and Iovniath
Day 13, Month 4, Turn 19, Tenth Interval - Day 19, Month 12, Turn 28, Tenth Interval
(Mar 24, 2009 - Jun 5 2012)
Before Satiet and Teonath went between, the Weyrwoman's knot and a letter of succession was left in Tiriana's care making the Telgar transfer the Weyr's acting Weyrwoman. It was rumored that one of the various requests Satiet left for Tiriana was the firing of the Weyrleader. But others say he just quit. Either way, his wingsecond, brownrider F'rint, stepped up to fill the Weyrleader's position temporarily. Iovniath rose on Day 11, Month 6 of turn 19, and evidently intended to be caught by A'son's Nikoth. When A'son stabbed himself to avert this, however, the queen was caught, in the resulting confusion, by K'del's bronze Cadejoth, making the barely seventeen-turn-old Weyrleader. Cadejoth caught Iovniath twice more, keeping K'del and Tiriana as co-leaders, despite ongoing issues between them, for nine and a half turns.
In Turn 28, however, relations between the two Weyrleaders began to deteriorate, coming to a head when Cadejoth chased Fort's Isyath, and then caught the exile queen Ysavaeth. In the aftermath of the latter, Tiriana broke K'del's arm - and he began plotting to have her ousted by writ of the weyr council under grounds of mental instability. He presented his case on the nineteenth day of month twelve, turn twenty-eight, and with an array of evidence, and witnesses, and a number of backroom deals, succeeded in the ploy. Tiriana and Iovniath were formally banished from High Reaches, retreating to Ierne, leaving Lujayn and Rielsath to Act in the Senior position.
- K'del and Cadejoth (Apri 11, 2009 - Jun 5, 2012)
- F'rint and Oranyuth (brown) (Mar 24, 2009 - Apr 11, 2009)
Satiet and Teonath
Turn 10, Tenth Interval - Day 13, Month 4, Turn 19, Tenth Interval
(Jan 23, 2007 - Mar 24, 2009)
A little over two months after Josilina resigned on day 10, month 12, turn 10 of the Tenth Interval, Teonath rose to be caught by Leiventh making R'hin High Reaches' Weyrleader once more. R'hin's time as Weyrleader was rocky, what with a surprise Threadfall coming on an Interval-lulled Pern, and further troubled by a dissolution in relations with Crom Hold due to R'hin's insistence the Crom Lord abandon several mineholds. This led to a fiasco where Crom decided to redistribute their tithes to Telgar which then caused inter-Weyr diplomatic meltdowns. It was a sunny winter afternoon, Turn's End, after Teonath had been visibly 'proddy' for a little over a week that R'hin went to meet with the Minecraft, and then was deposed as Weyrleader, though rumor has it the flight did not go according to plan as Teonath veered for another bronze before being snared by Wyaeth.
Sometime in month 11 of the 18th turn of the 10th Interval, Satiet was diagnosed with a failing liver. By month 4, day 13, of the 19th turn, she had concluded her affairs and left the Weyrwoman's knot in Tiriana's weyr before betweening.
- N'thei and Wyaeth (Jan 19, 2008 - Mar 24, 2009)
- R'hin and Leiventh (Jan 23, 2007 - Jan 19, 2008)
Pre-NorCon History
Josilina and Lhiannonth
Turn 2, Tenth Interval - Turn 10, Tenth Interval
(Apr 19, 2005 - Jan 23, 2007)
After Matheny was shot, accidentally, by a cross bow meant for another, Josilina became acting Weyrwoman until the rise of her Lhiannonth confirmed her as the new senior queen the following turn. In a surprising turn of events, near twenty-eight turns after S'rist first became Weyrleader with Matheny, Lhiannonth was caught by an upstart new bronze making R'hin High Reaches' first new Weyrleader of the Interval. The knot of senior passed one day, quite suddenly, to Satiet. Rumors percolated that the abrupt decision to do so was brought upon by pressures and conflict with her Weyrleader.
- R'hin and Leiventh (Sept 22, 2006 - Jan 23, 2007)
- S'rist and Dzurath (Apr 19, 2005 - Sept 22, 2006)
Matheny and Jenryth
Turn 30, Tenth Pass - Turn 2, Tenth Interval
(Mar 1, 2000 - Mar 2, 2005)
Matheny found herself as Weyrwoman when pregnancy took Laurelin away from active duty. She didn't yet know that the sneezing was a sure sign of Jenryth's condition and so went to visit Lady Selchin at Tillek one fine cold day. Jenryth rose, making a mess of the winter corralled herdbeasts - something the Weyrleaders would have to atone for later. She was a successful Weyrwoman, keeping High Reaches under stable leadership with S'rist as her Weyrleader -- the two of whom led the Weyr into the Interval. A visit to Ista resulted in an accidental tragedy that led to her retirement.
- S'rist and Dzurath (Jun 24, 2000 - Apr 19, 2005)
- Rilsa and brown Corineth (Mar 1, 2000 - Jun 24, 2000) - Acting Weyrleader
Laurelin and Elisanth
Turn 22, Tenth Pass - Turn 30, Tenth Pass
(Apr 1998 - Mar 2000)
When Darci went to assist Benden Weyr it was Laurelin who took over the responsibilities of Senior Weyrwoman. After it was announced that Darci would not be returning any time soon it wasn't long before Laurelin was confirmed as the official new Senior, High Reaches' first new Senior in quite a long time when Elisanth rose suddenly in the night to be caught by Zyrieth. S'dar and bronze Chezroth were visiting from Telgar Weyr when their experience at a previous HRW goldflight served them again and Chezroth twined tails with Elisanth. When the time came that Laurelin was found pregnant she retired for the sake of the health of herself and her twins.

Turn 200, Ninth Interval - Turn 22, Tenth Pass
(Apr 1993 - Apr 1998)
Darci became Weyrwoman at a young age in the winter before the start of the Pass, when Chana and A'lon retired. She remained Weyrwoman for 20 full turns until Benden requested her assistance with some of the problems they were facing with a water shortage. Darci spent nearly a turn at Benden before it was announced that she had met someone special and would be staying on there for some time.

(Chana is responsible for the original building of the Weyr on PernMUSH, a feat she is rumored to have accomplished in only 2 days.) She and A'lon retired together a few turns later.
