Circle of Flame Egg
Most of this stately egg is washed in black at first glance, though longer, closer inspection will find much of it is a deep rusty brown instead. A flare of brilliance near the narrow tip of the egg is nearly the only source of color, a knot of blinding white at the center, fading out through yellow, orange, red and finally melding into the darkness. Two thin arms of pale yellow reach out from this point, one up towards the tip, the other down towards the base, arcing back to make the marking look almost like a jewel embedded in a ring. Here and there a few little flares of color shine, like echoes of the brilliance.
Rocking rhythmically and persistently from side to side the Circle of Flame egg tumbles over on its side and and sort of stretches out along one side, minute cracks shimmering all of its surface into it simply disintegrates into fine powder in a dusty oval at the center of which sits a tightly curled a Passionately Poised Green dragonet.
Passionately Poised Green Dragonet
Ocean's depths meet rushing river all across this lithe green's body, brining to mind the waters of the Igen delta. Frothy specks of pale seagreen foam dot her flanks in long curving tidelines and down each side of her muzzle and tail, contrasting against the deeper shade of teal that forms the foundation of her coloring. Her muzzle has a snub nose rendered cute by the rest of her narrow face. Though a bit long of limb, she is not gangling, her shape is narrower than it is tall, giving an impression of overall leanness that is only emphasized by a trailing train of wings that will need growing into.
Public Impression Message
Picking up speed as she becomes more and more sure of the direction she needs to go, the Passionately Poised Green Hatchling passes several Candidates in white with an almost apologetic look, and yet skip over them she does, coming to a halt before tawny-haired girl and gently touches her lovely green nose to Anabelle's chest.
Inspiration
This egg is inspired by the show Heroes. The description is based on the show's symbol - an eclipse. Though in its first season, the show has received much critical and audience acclaim. "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World."
