He's all ridges and hollows, a lean young dragon the greyed blue of northern waters; salt might as well have encrusted the spiky tips of his spine, such a crystalline glint have they, and the prominences above large, canny eyes. That color shivers into warmth along the underside of his wings, from dusky shoals to the subtler golden shimmer of dawn, less concealed than not always revealed.
