HRW:Attire
Due to the climates High Reaches undergoes, the variety of clothing can be anything from the fine warmth of llama hair, to thinner linens that are utilized by the bulk of Pernese for serviceable attire.
A large part of tithes from High Reaches Hold tend to be llamas, or llama-products including bushels of unrefined wool. Once at the Weyr, seamstresses work to comb the wools out into fine softness and dye them in appropriate colors: deep reds laced with golds, navy blues, burgundy, and earthen shades. The heavy sweaters, trousers, and gloves are used predominately throughout autumn and winter, as well as early spring when the slush persists in piling up.
The storage caverns of the Reaches are stocked with dark-knit sweaters and llama-hair lined jackets, most in good states of usage. Weather-proof leather, light for maneuverability, but dense enough to block the extremes of High Reaches Weyr's weather.
In the summer, lighter colors are favored along with linen and sisal for those who can afford it. Long-sleeved tunics and layers to deal with the warmth of the mountain sun and the sometimes sudden onslaught of cooler winds.
