| With the injuries which Shevena suffered at Turn's End keeping her from running the caverns, the Headwoman's knot has temporarily fallen to one of her assistants: Mairwen. It remains to be seen how long this appointment will be for, some claiming that Shevena is indestructible and will be back on her feet within sevens, while others are more cautious and believe it's more likely to be months until she can walk properly again, let alone reclaim her knot. More work than usual will be passing into the hands of Mairwen and her assistants, since the Weyrwoman is on leave following the birth of her daughter in the early hours of day 10, month 1. Why the Weyrleader was out on Elaruth's ledge and inside the weyr during those hours is anybody's guess. Though with a name like Nimarie, who is that child's father? |
