HRW:Savannah Wing
Following the death of R'hin, Savannah was invited to return to Monaco. Early in Turn 39, most of the wing returned south.

History
At the end of month 8, turn 33, Savannah Wing arrived at High Reaches as part of a planned wing swap, with Polaris Wing going south to Monaco in their place.
After arriving, Savannah Wing worked hard to become visible within the Weyr -- their dragons perching up on the rim, their riders openly mingling and buying drinks in the Snowasis, and hosting weekly poker games in the Rider's Lounge. While their reception in some cases was chilly due to the complicated and recently poor relationship between the Weyrs, many were successful in making lasting impressions (both good and bad!)
The wing returned to Monaco a Turn later, and were gone for barely three months before they appeared in High Reaches again. Rumor has it they were exiled from Monaco by new Weyrleader M'kris, though the Monacoan members of the wing are fairly reticent on that score.
Since returning to the Weyr they appear to have integrated relatively well with the other wings; they host a weekly card game at the Rider's Lounge with all invited, and they have regular darts games (with a round of drinks as the prize) with Glacier.
Dynamics
Early morning drills are a thing of rarity, given the wing as a whole seems more given to night-time activities, far more suited to the night-owl life style. It's not uncommon for the wing to socialize together -- apart from a weekly poker game that takes place in the Rider's Lounge, the wing also spontaneously will go on bar crawls, go hunting wild game, and attend gathers together.
Some have suggested some of Savannah's more 'unspoken' night time activities involve dressing up and playacting out other personalities, as some form of infiltration practice. Whether that's true is a closely held fact, though wing members are often recruited for their skills in that area.
It's a clearer story for those in the know. Far from a traditional wing, drills and sweeps are performed only often enough to either keep up appearances or retain the basics learnt during weyrlinghood.
Skills taught and encouraged within the wing range from diplomacy, a high level of fitness, and strong historical knowledge through to deception, lockpicking and mimicking of accents. Savannah Wing members are encouraged to develop and maintain alternate identities throughout the sweep area and beyond, to allow them to gather information that will be fed back to High Reaches' leadership.
A normal day in Savannah Wing often starts late-morning with a short gathering of the wing either in someone's weyr or in a prearranged location outside the Weyr. Assignments or new areas of interest are generally given out at this time -- assignments could be as loose as "find out the latest gossip about Nabol's Lady Holder", to the very specific, "establish an identity in Keogh Hold that will let you get close to the local harper." Often one's "work day" extends well past the normal dinner hours into late evening, though the late morning starts help balance that out.
Leadership
R'hin was named Wingleader to the Monacoan group of men and women who originally formed Savannah. Opinions vary on the bronzerider: some find him blunt and irritating, others find him charismatic and driven. As a Wingleader he works hard to create a cohesive unit, encouraging social wing activities and often taking a personal interest in training wing members.
