Fair skinned, blue eyed and blonde haired, Urda is pretty enough in a girl-next-door kind of way. She's on the short side of average, if only barely, and while not quite pudgy, is certainly not svelte, either. Urda hails from the High Reaches Hold area; her family is very distantly related to the Lord, though they've never made much of it. She was brought in to the weyr on search for Iovniath and Cadejoth's first clutch only a couple of days before the hatching, and had very little time to get used to it before she ended up being chosen almost immediately by sky blue Branarath. She and her clutchmate P'lask became instant friends during weyrlinghood, and although she may have been interested in a more romantic relationship, she wasn't too concerned when his interests turned elsewhere. At graduation, she was tapped into Polaris wing.
