* High Reaches Weyrleader from Turn 19 - Turn 30; Weyrsecond in Turn 32; Acting Weyrleader later in Turn 32; officially confirmed as Weyrleader again late in turn 34; and again in Turn 38. K'del's history with this knot is long and complicated: from extreme youth and inexperience to ousting a weyrwoman, faked flights, a murdered weyrwoman, dramatic injuries, and a weyrwoman (accidentally) burnt alive. He has also survived being stabbed ''as'' his dragon caught. %r%r* Born Kasadel, second youngest of nine in a Vinehold family in the Tillek region, he originally arrived at High Reaches with the tithe of Turn 17. His Impression to bronze Cadejoth at the end of that turn cemented his place in the Weyr; he's not lived elsewhere since. %r%r* As a young man, he was known as something of a player; he appeared to collect women wherever he went. In more recent turns, however, he's been in a string of longer-term relationships, with partners including High Reaches' former headwoman, Milani, and then-Weyrwoman, Iolene. Since Turn 32, he has been involved in an apparently very stable long-distance relationship with Ali, now Southern's Weyrwoman.%r%r* A known family man, K'del has a number of acknowledged children: Kasey (with Avey), Nikalas (with Milani), Iska (with Ali), Ishadel (with Ali), and Kashal (with Ali).
