2008.07.25: Sniffles And Sack Tossing

What: P'draig adds the sack toss into the weyrlings' daily training. Paige, who's lately caught a cold and managed to hide the first few days of it, gets a few things from the infirmary but is soon put under strict orders to use the next day to rest up and recuperate.

What: At Tiasheth's urging, Paige pokes her head into the weyrlingmaster's office to express her concerns over Neala and Saryan's behavior and to confide in Paddy about her struggles with the harper lessons. Jekzith shares images of places for Tiasheth to explore; Tiasheth lets slip that Paige likes one of P'draig's assistants.

What: When Berit flees the scene of (the crime) her haircut, Paige goes after the sobbing girl in an attempt to be reassuring and helpful. Catching up with her in the stores, the two chat and push aside the topic of haircuts for a far more intriguing one: Romance.

What: After breakfast, the weyrlings undergo getting their hair chopped off. Paige reconciles herself more easily than some; for Berit, the loss is truly a tragedy.
